1987-88 ABC. This pilot just showed up on Youtube. I watched a couple of other episodes last year. Good show. I thought it was going to be terrible. Paul Winfield as the Mirror is the biggest name. First Snow was better. 20 episodes. One unaired.

1991-92 NBC. 19 episodes. Cult appeal. One of the new shows I just found recently. Dick Miller in the one playing now. Joe Dante was creative consultant and directed five episodes. Bob Balaban directed three.

Robert Wise one of my favorite directors. I read the book first, many years before I saw the movie. The Book Club edition was on the family bookshelf, and I liked to read thrillers late into the night. The first time I saw the movie was a similar late night experience. It's long and that adds to the suspense.
