1980. This is new. Another Star Wars/Alien-themed commercial from that era. There are a number of those here now.
The commercial was originally aired on February 13th, 1980. It was run during the movie "Exorcist II" on WJBK Channel 2 in Detroit MI. WJBK Channel 2 was the CBS Affiliate in Detroit, Michigan at the time.
Directed by Tim Burton. DVD double with Batman Returns. Watching nothing but laptop lately so I needed something visual and dark on the new TV. Tim Burton DVDs get a lot of play on that level.
